      <image:caption>Certified Personal Trainer, Functional Aging and Senior Fitness Specialist I am the founder and owner of LXV Fitness, a part of LXV Home Plus, LLC. I have been in the healthcare industry over a decade. I’m coming from a background in physical therapy and fitness. I have worked in a multitude of settings over the years, from acute to out patient. I spent most of the last decade in geriatric and orthopedic settings. Playing sports in my youth helped me to better understand body movement. As I grew, I found the human body, especially the muscular system, fascinating. I became a personal trainer in my early twenties. Wanting to learn more, I went back to school. I graduated with a degree in physical therapy from Mount Hood Community College and beginning a rewarding career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. The next decade went by fast. Getting married to my best friend and starting a family. Helping two daughters navigate the world and enjoying the journey. Now I am starting a service that can help improve, strength, balance, endurance, core strength and flexibility for a more functional independent senior population. I enjoy working with seniors, helping them to achieve their goals. I am excited to see where life takes me. Whether your goal is improved health, quality of life, fitness, function, pain reduction, sports performance, disease management, stress reduction, social interaction or just to become more active.
